High Honor Comes to Mistletoe School Again!

The National Forum officially named Mistletoe School a School to Watch. Mistletoe School is one of only two K-8 schools in the North state, and Mistletoe is now a 3-time winner of this prestigious award. This high honor is in recognition of the school's

1) Academic Excellence  Mistletoe School challenges all students to use their minds well.

2) Developmental Responsiveness — Mistletoe School is sensitive to the unique developmental challenges of early adolescence.

3) Social Equity — Mistletoe School is democratic and fair, providing every student with high-quality teachers, resources, and supports.

To achieve this level of performance, high-performing schools establish norms, structures, and organizational arrangements to support and sustain their trajectory toward excellence. They have a sense of purpose that drives every facet of practice and decision-making.

The school will be honored at a conference and luncheon in Sacramento later this month and at the national conference in Washington, D.C., in June.

Congratulations to the staff and students of Mistletoe School! Well done!
