After School Program

The Enterprise Elementary School District's ACE Program is housed at six participating school sites: Alta Mesa Elementary School, Lassen View Elementary School, Mistletoe Elementary School, Rother Elementary School, Shasta Meadows Elementary School, and Parsons Junior High School.

The first priority of the ACE program at each site is to assist the students with homework assignments and identify areas of concern for additional tutorial services in Math and Language Arts. Each site has developed a curriculum tailored to meet the needs and interests of its individual student population. Each child also receives a nutritious snack every day.

Some of the enrichment and youth development activities include: arts and crafts, computer fun, piano lessons, jujitsu, dance, drama, cooking, Spanish, Zumba, and much more!

We employ qualified NCLB-compliant individuals, and we welcome you to take a tour of the facility. You are always welcome to drop in.

The program, a collaborative effort on behalf of the school district, public and private agencies, churches, parents, and local community members, offers extensive homework and tutoring sessions as well as a variety of enrichment activities.

Designed to improve student achievement and test scores while decreasing violence and juvenile crime, the ACE program's holistic approach to education offers a complete menu of services to the students. Areas of focus include implementing integrated academic, health, and social services, recreational and cultural programs, experiences with technology, and providng a variety of enrichment activities for all students.

Program hours are from the time school is dismissed until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The ASES (After School Education and Safety Program) grant provides a portion of the funding that supports this program.

If you have questions or need additional information about the ACE program, please contact the Mistletoe ACE Coordinator at  530-224-4169.
