Our A girls basketball team finished the season with a perfect league record and a first place finish in the league tournament. Coach Brenna Jones said, “These girls showed true teamwork. Each girl stepped up to fill their unique role to help this team be successful in going undefeated in league and ultimately winning the league championship. Their success was a result of their collective efforts and resilience.” The ten girls who make up the A team are:

  • Alycia Austin
  • Erica Cao
  • Jada Carter
  • Alissa Chao
  • Kalena Chao
  • Esmeralda Estrada
  • Trista Hardley
  • Audrey Jones
  • Kara Jones
  • Evan Wright

Five of the players are seventh graders who will return to defend their record next year.

K-9 Connections provides dogs and professional dog trainers to coach veterans and their K9 companions for free. These dogs help veterans suffering from PTSD get their lives back. To support our veteran community, Mistletoe students and families set out to raise between $250-$500 to pay for the adoption cost of one service dog. We ended up raising a whopping $1259 for the cause!
